About Rogan Recs

Updated July 25, 2026 2 min read Site

Heads up: some links on this page are affiliate links. If you buy through one, Rogan Recs may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what gets recommended. This page is informational and is not medical advice.

Rogan Recs started because the same questions kept going unanswered. Someone would mention a supplement, a sauna protocol, a pair of boots, and by the time you wanted to look it up you’d need to scrub through three hours of audio to find the twenty seconds where it was actually discussed.

So this is the index nobody else was keeping.

What this site is not

It is not affiliated with Joe Rogan, the Joe Rogan Experience, Spotify, Onnit, or any brand covered here. Nobody at Rogan Recs has met or spoken to him. This is a fan project, written by someone who listens to the show.

It is also not a medical resource. A meaningful share of what gets discussed on the podcast sits in territory where the evidence is thin, early, or contested — peptides, stem cells, hydrogen water, various nootropics. The guides here try to be straight about that distinction rather than laundering podcast enthusiasm into something that reads like a clinical recommendation.

How a guide gets made

  1. Start from the source. Something gets said on an episode, in an interview, or on a UFC broadcast. That’s the anchor. If it can’t be traced to something public, it doesn’t go in.
  2. Separate the claim from the product. What was actually said, versus what the manufacturer says, versus what the research says. Those are three different things and they get treated as three different things.
  3. Price it honestly. Including the cheaper option that does most of the same job, because most readers here are not furnishing a private studio.
  4. Say what isn’t known. If the evidence is preliminary or the mechanism is speculative, that goes in the guide rather than getting quietly dropped.

Corrections

Things change. Products get discontinued, positions get updated, and sometimes a page here is simply wrong. Every guide carries a visible “Updated” date at the top so you can judge how stale it might be.

If something is out of date or incorrect, tell us. Corrections get made and the update date changes. That’s the whole process.

How this site makes money

Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you buy something through one, Rogan Recs earns a commission at no additional cost to you.

That relationship is disclosed at the top of every page that contains one, not buried down here. It doesn’t change what gets recommended, and there are plenty of pages on this site that recommend the cheaper option or tell you to skip the purchase entirely — which is roughly the point.
